Sage will reopen for indoor dining for fully vaccinated people and for those who had it in the past 6 months from 31st July. We are working on our outdoor area and hope to have it running second week in August. Thank you for your support!
Where to Eat and Stay on the Wild Atlantic Way
Welcome and thanks for your interest in our little restaurant!
‘Shteryo Yurukov has the culinary sensibilities of a hunter and a forager. He loves the taste of saddle of rabbit, others cook crab claws with garlic, he cooks them with wild garlic. He makes a foraged coastline salad that blows you away with its mixture of exotica, bitterness and wildness. To his love of ruddy and feral he brings a precise technique and sensibility. The result is brilliant eating, food that is sensual and slightly crazy, yet utterly lovable.
Add in Eva’s charming mastery of the room and you can see why everyone wants to be in Sage.’

Great food served on really hot plates (just the way I like it) complimentary schnapps and little sweets at end of meat, delicious! Great for a special occasion, £30 each for main and delicious dessert, and a glass of red wine. Would definitely return.
This was a lovely location for our group to have dinner. The service was excellent, and the food simply delicious. No Rose wine in stock, but a very good Pinot Grigio.
